Research, Advocacy, Events, and Communications Coordinator

 

This is a great opportunity for an exceptional recent graduate to get in from the start with an exciting new consultancy, think tank, and events organisation. Future Advocacy works on humanity’s biggest challenges in the 21st Century. The think tank focuses on ensuring that the development of artificial intelligence is beneficial for humanity, and the consultancy currently works with two high-profile charities on nutrition and early childhood development.

The successful candidate will be thrown in at the deep end and will quickly develop a wide range of skills including research, advocacy, event planning, and communications.  They will work directly alongside the Founder/CEO.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Research key issues relating to the think tank and consultancy projects

  • Organise a series of innovative think tank events

  • Oversee website upkeep

  • Develop social media presence

  • A wide range of other tasks as required

 


Skills and Experience

  • Strong academic record

  • Digital native with strong social media skills

  • An interest in and understanding of artificial intelligence would be desirable

  • Highly organised completer/finisher

  • Enthusiastic and flexible

  • Willing to undertake routine admin tasks

  • Ability to represent the organisation to high level individuals

  • Very strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience in organising events

 

Terms and Conditions

Initial 4 month contract

Pay: £1534 per month

Location: London
