Engaging with governments to drive investments into data for development

FUTURE ADVOCACY X GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data is a global network that uses data to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals — improving lives, fighting inequality, and promoting environmental sustainability.

We support the Global Partnership and their UN and World Bank colleagues by  providing strategic communications, advocacy and research to help drive investment into data and AI for development through the Power of Data initiative. 

Since 2022, we have worked with the Global Partnership to engage with and influence key donor governments at the highest levels. This is what secured the first tranche of funding for the launch of the Power of Data initiative in September 2023. The initiative now has 15 low- and middle-income countries that have formed cutting-edge national data partnerships. 

From organising roundtables, such as at the UN High-Level Political Forum, to showrunning a  launch event at the SDG Summit in New York, Future Advocacy has supported the Global Partnership to amplify the initiative and demonstrate its importance to governments around the world in driving progress across the SDGs.
