Tom Hart is President of the ONE Campaign. A veteran of Capitol Hill, in this MiniMasterclass he shares his insights on how to influence the US Congress and drive powerful policy change. Since joining ONE in 2003, Tom has helped raise billions of dollars to end extreme poverty. He played a central role in advocating for the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the largest commitment by any nation to address a single disease in history, and played a significant role in kickstarting The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Before ONE, he was a part of the groundbreaking Jubilee 2000 campaign, an international movement in over 40 countries which successfully campaigned for cancellation of the debts of low income countries at the start of the Millennium.
